Orianna, The Clockwork Girl 2 by britthebadger Orianna, The Clockwork Girl 2 by britthebadger
Debuted this costume at PAX East, 2012.

I had the pleasure of having a small photo shoot with Jillian, akaL DA: CloudStrife-Nocturne ([link]) the day before. She did a wonderful job!

Whoops. My bad. :P It's Orianna's Ball. It floats and protects her, does damage, etc.

Or are you talking about Janna? in which case, it was a blue staff.

Where did you keep the sound/how did you play the sounds? XD I remember watching the video and it was a tad muffled, but successful nonetheless :3 Just curious, since I would like to do something similar!

I used a mini speaker and an mp3 player with the quotes on repeat. I had the set up strung up with fishing line between the spokes of the skirt.
I didn't have the speaker set up in this picture, but I did have it when I was on the show floor of PAX East.

Thank you so much for the compliment! I hope to have more (and better photos) up in the future.

The majority was wonderflex with a craft foam lining. Most of the raised details were friendly plastic. The joints are squishy foam in gold spandex. The face and head are both plaster casts of my face/head with paper clay coating it/for details.

The key has a harness and is made of pvc and friendly plastic for details. It can also be turned. ^_^

The ball was paper mache over a beach ball, then wonderflex and friendly plastic over that. It was cut in half and then there is a wire structure keeping the two halves apart with fishing line then binding the halves together to create a tension. I also had fishing line strung up from the ball to the hands. There is also blue EL wire in the "eye" and around the gap for the light.

Thank you! Ori is definitely my absolute favorite champ!

It was mostly made of wonderflex backed with craft foam and friendly plastic for the details. The joints are squishy foam covered in gold spandex. Face and head are plaster casts of my face/head and smoothed/detailed with paper clay. The ball was paper mache over a beach ball sawed in half then strung to leave a 1" gap...then coated in wonderflex and friendly plastic...strung up on fishing line to the hands...and added lights...

Since this photo, I have remade the shoes and face and done some modifications to the torso....I'll have pics of modified Ori soon!
